COVID-19 – Telehealth Update


Our office is committed to serve our clients and community during the COVID-19 crisis and we are in full support of practicing social distancing. Therefore, we will continue to provide caring, ethical, consistent, and reliable telehealth therapy sessions virtually, rather than in person, through secure HIPAA compliant platforms, and as a backup or if you prefer we can use Zoom.  Although less preferred, we can do phone sessions.  So far, clients have responded very favorably to telehealth and found it much easier than they anticipated.


I want to assure you that my support and therapy services will remain available to you during these uncertain and challenging times. Your emotional, mental, and physical health is top priority. I understand that the next few weeks and possibly months will likely trigger increased anxiety, depression due to isolation, stress due to managing family dynamics, agitations, relationship bumps, fears, and a lot of “what if‘s.”

Our receptionists in the office Monday-Thursday from 10:00am-3:00 pm and can answer many of the  questions you may have, schedule appointments or if you need to change or cancel your appointment.

Telehealth is Effective: Research indicates that it can be as effective as face to face therapy for most people.

Telehealth is Simple:  All you need is:

  • a computer, phone, iPad  or  tablet

  • a solid internet connection

  • a private room where you can talk

  • just click on this link a few minutes before your appointment and you will be in my waiting room zoom   If needed:  Meeting ID:  7043663400

  • You can test it out any time by clicking on the link and it will take you to my waiting room - which is where you will wait on the day of your appointment and then I will add you to my video conference at your appointment time.

  • If there are problems logging in please e-mail me at so that we can solve any issues that arise immediately.

Telehealth  Insurance Coverage:  Telehealth is Covered by most Insurance Companies during the COVID-19 Crisis.  If you have questions about your policy please contact your insurance carrier.

Payment for services:  We will file your insurance as usual and charge the credit card that we have on file for your copayment.  If you need to change the card for payment just let me know at the time of the session.
